Performers

Dr. Krit Niramittham

Krit Niramittham is a pianist, conductor, music educator, and theologian. Born and raised in Thailand, he won the first prize and received the Royal Trophy awarded by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand at the Conrad Young Musician of Thailand Competition 2009. He earned degrees in Piano Performance from Conservatoire de Lausanne, Switzerland, where he studied with Jean-François Antonioli. He has also participated in masterclasses with many world-class international pianists, including Adam Gyorgy, Boris Kraljevic, John Lill, Ronan O’Hora, Frank Wibaut, Muza Rubackyte, and Abdel Rahman El Bacha. He has performed chamber music and piano solo concerts in Europe and Asia, including Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Romania, Albania, England, Japan, the two Koreas, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. In recent years, he has appeared as a pianist-conductor, performing and conducting works for piano and orchestra. Dr. Krit Niramittham holds a doctoral degree in music education from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a doctoral degree in theology from the BBS-AGST Alliance. He teaches piano, chamber music, music theory, music education-related courses, and philosophy to local and international students in Thailand. His piano students have been awarded prizes in numerous national and international music competitions and exams. Besides, he has constantly been doing and publishing research to enhance his teaching skills and contribute to music education communities worldwide.

 

Ratchawin Sirilerdsacksakul

Ratchawin Sirilerdsacksakul is a piano student of Dr. Krit Niramittham and a music Scholar at Regent’s International School, Bangkok. He has participated in numerous local and international piano competitions. He won first prizes at the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival and received the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati for the Piano Solo category in 2018, the Piano Duet category in 2017, and the Piano Duet category in 2021. In 2017, he also won First Prize in the Piano Solo category at the Kawai Music Competition in Thailand. In 2018, he was chosen to perform in the gala concert after winning the first prize and the best performance of the Chopin Waltz at the 7th ASEAN International Chopin Piano Competition in Malaysia. He also won the first prize in the 2020 Singapore International Piano Competition. Besides piano competitions, he has participated in a singing contest and won the gold prize at the 10th Asia Arts Festival in Singapore, as well as the first prize in the Duo Idol category in the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival 2022, in which he received the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. He has also performed in charity concerts to raise money to help underprivileged children in our society. One of his goals is to improve his musical skills so he can share high-quality music with others.

 

Pichaphon Chettanacharoenchai

Pichaphon Chettanacharoenchai is thirteen years old and a junior high school student at Assumption College's English Program. He started his piano studies at the age of 5 at Yamaha Music School and is currently a student of Dr. Krit Niramittham. He has been awarded numerous prizes in music competitions, including the First-Runner-Up Award in the Yamaha Thailand Music Festivals 2023 in the Duo Idol category; the Second Place Award in the 10th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival competition in 2023 in the piano duet category; the Merit Award in the 2022 Vienna Music Competition; the First Prize and the Royal Trophy awarded by Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati in piano duet category; and First-Runner-Up Awards in the Duo Idol category in the Yamaha Thailand Music Festivals 2022; the Gold Award in the 1st Young Concert Artists International Piano Competition 2021; the Silver Prize award in 2021 Thailand International Virtual Music Competition; and the Silver Prize in the Singapore Asia Youth Piano Competition 2019.

 

Supanee Santiworranunt

Supanee Santiworranunt is a student of Dr. Krit Niramittham, whom she has studied with for three years. Besides piano, she also plays cello and sings. She was born and raised in Thailand and is now nine years old. She studied at Regent’s International School in Bangkok, where she is also a music scholar. She has participated in many activities, including concerts, piano camps, piano competitions, In 2023, She received the gold prize and qualified for the final round of the KIPC 2023 Kasetsart International Piano Competition and The VI International LISZT FERENC Competition. In 2022, she was awarded the third prize from the Churairat ABRSM Piano Competition Category C. She was also awarded a gold medal and became a semi-finalist at the 5th UCSI University International Piano Competition in Malaysia. She has participated in masterclasses with Giorgi Latso, Rolf-Dieter Arens, Jun Komatsu, and Esther Ning Yau. She has also performed in charity concerts as a pianist and cellist to raise money to help children and hospitals in our society. One of her dreams when she grows up is to become a famous and great piano teacher and share her knowledge with anyone who wishes to learn excellent music. She is committed to practicing every day, and she makes sure that the music that she is producing is good.

 

Thawin Vanitchyangkul

Thawin Vanitchyangkul has been known as one of the most highly acclaimed young pianists of his generation. He is a piano student of Dr. Krit Niramittham and a music scholar at St. Andrews International School. He has participated in masterclasses with many international pianists, including Congyu Wang, Elena Nesterenko, Rolf-Dieter Arens, and Giorgi Latso. He has been awarded many prizes from both national and international piano and music competitions, including the first prize winner from the Hong Kong Youth Performing Art Festival in 2018; the first prize winner from Churairat Piano Competition in 2019; the first prize award from the Bangkok International Piano Competition 2021, the second prize award from Paderewski International Piano Competition 2021, the first prize from the Yamaha Thailand Music Festivals in 2021, in which he received the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati; and the first prize from the Singapore International Classical Piano Competition in 2022, in which he was selected to perform at the Winner Gala Concert. In April 2022, he performed with the Immanuel Orchestra for the Grand Opening of Steinway & Sons Thailand. Apart from his passion for piano solo and chamber music, he is also interested in conducting, playing drums and clarinet, and composing music for piano during his free time to further enhance his music education.

 

Kanyakorn Koottatep

Kanyakorn Koottatep started her piano journey 11 years ago. She is a 15-year-old young pianist, currently studying at Triamudom Suksa School. She won prizes from several piano competitions, including the New York Golden Classical Music Awards 2022 International Competition, the 4th Singapore International Classical Piano Competition 2022, the International Music Competition London "Grand Prize Virtuoso," and the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival (YTMF). Apart from competitions, Kanyakorn also achieved the Yamaha Grade 5 (Teacher Grade) exam and the ABRSM Grade 8 with Distinction. In addition, Kanyakorn participated in the Piano Camp concert, performing a piano trio. She also has experience performing with the orchestra for the Grand Opening of the new Steinway & Sons Thailand gallery. She has participated in masterclasses with Rolf-Dieter Arens and Francesco Tristano. She intends to continue and enhance her musical experiences concurrently with her academic studies.

 

Vachirawin Chettanacharoenchai

Vachirawin Chettanacharoenchai is a fifteen-year-old high school student at Traim Udom Suksa School in Bangkok. He started his piano studies at the age of 6 at Yamaha Music School and is currently a student of Dr. Krit Niramittham. He has participated in masterclasses with many prominent international pianists, including Giorgi Latso, Jun Komatsu, Armen Babakhanian, Poom Prommachart, Congyu Wang, and Rena Phua. He has received various prizes from music competitions, including the first prize in the 2022 Golden Classical Music Awards, in which he was invited to perform in the Winners’ Concert at Carnegie Hall, New York; the Gold Prize in the Young Artist Music Contest in Thailand in 2022; the Champion Award in the 2021 Vienna Music Competition; the Gold Award in the 1st Young Concert Artists International Piano Competition in 2021; the Gold Prize award in 2021 Thailand International Virtual Music Competition; the Silver Prize in the Singapore Asia Youth Piano Competition 2019; the special prize "Promising Artist'' the Young Talents Category; the 3rd Piano Island Festival in Singapore 2019; and the first prize in the Grand Prize Virtuoso 2018 (Piano Duet Category), in which he was invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

 

Minchaya Sirilerdsacksakul

Minchaya Sirilerdsacsakul is a 16-year-old pianist and singer. She is a music scholar at Regent's International School Bangkok and a piano student of Dr. Krit Niramittham. After a decade of learning, performing, and participating in piano competitions, she has received numerous awards both nationally and internationally. She won the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival’s First Prize and received the Royal Trophy from HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha and HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana for the Piano Solo, Piano Duet, and Duo Idol categories in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. She was also awarded the Special Brilliant Award at the 7th Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition, as well as the Absolute Award at the WPTA Finland International Piano Competition 2020. She has performed for the Grand Opening of the new Steinway & Sons Thailand gallery with the Immanuel Orchestra. Besides piano competitions, she also participated in vocal competitions, in which she received the Gold Prize at the 10th Asia Arts Festival in Singapore and was invited to perform at numerous events such as Junior Mekkala 2022. She has also taken part in numerous master classes and summer camps both in Thailand and abroad, where she had the opportunity to perform chamber music, trios, bands, and orchestras. With her musical background and her passion for music, she is committed to improving her musical skills to reach a higher level, hoping that she can bring music to enlighten people’s hearts.
