“BACK TO BASICS” WITH DR. TIMOTHY BLAIR

Memorization and Beauty of Tone

As part of the Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner program, Steinway Thailand is organizing a Steinway Teacher Training Workshop on Memorization and Beauty of Tone.

Memorization of pieces needs to be first in the learning process, not last; while Beauty of Tone is only possible when any and all physical tension is absent in the learning process. In this workshop Steinway Artist, Dr. Blair will discuss specific approaches and teaching tools regarding these two topics.
