SPIRIOCAST CONNECTS HARROW STUDENTS ACROSS CHINA AND THAILAND IN A SEAMLESS COLLABORATIVE LIVE CONCERT EXPERIENCE

Steinway & Sons, in collaboration with AISL Harrow Schools and AISL Foundation, successfully presented a landmark musical event, An Afternoon of Piano Music Connecting Beijing, Shanghai and Bangkok, at the respective Steinway & Sons Showrooms.
Steinway & Sons Thailand proudly hosted the Bangkok segment of “An Afternoon of Piano Music Connecting Beijing, Shanghai, and Bangkok”, a collaborative live piano concert, connecting Harrow students in Thailand with their peers in China through seamless SpirioCast performances.
The afternoon opened with an address by Warren Lee, Steinway Artist and Group Director of Music for AISL Harrow Schools, who set the tone for a forward-looking exploration of music and innovation.
Powered by SpirioCast on a Steinway & Sons Spirio|r piano, this pioneering concert introduced Bangkok audiences to a performance experience unlike any other. Live performances by Harrow students in Beijing and Shanghai were transmitted in real time to the Spirio|r on stage at the showroom in Bangkok, with every nuance precisely reproduced.
The concert then transitioned to the local stage, where four exceptionally talented Harrow Bangkok students—Sydney, Sarah, Pinn Pinn, and Sand—took centre stage to perform works by Gershwin, Beethoven, and Chopin, alongside a Chinese traditional piece, their performances simultaneously transmitted back to audiences in Beijing and Shanghai, bringing the tri-city musical dialogue to a compelling live conclusion.
Throughout the event, guests experienced a dynamic interplay between remote and in-person performance, redefining the traditional concert format and showcasing how technology can elevate musical education and collaboration.
