Steinway & Sons Thailand proudly reaffirms its commitment to piano excellence and music education through the sponsorship of the Denla Piano Competition 2024, an esteemed event celebrating the artistry and dedication of Thailand’s young pianists.
Held on Thursday, 20 June 2024, at 4.00pm, the competition gathered talented pianists from across the nation at the magnificent Araya Hall in Denla British School. Organized to uphold the highest standards of piano performance, the competition allowed participants to perform across a wide range of genres. To support this diverse competition, Steinway Thailand provided a Boston GP-193 piano, allowing participants to showcase their skill sand virtuosity via the exceptional tonal richness and responsiveness reflected in the superior quality of a Steinway-designed piano.
Since its inception in 2022, the Denla Piano Competition has quickly become a significant event in Thailand’s institutional piano competition scene, bringing together contestants from all across Thailand, representing various schools, along with talented performers, esteemed educators, and industry professionals. The competition featured a panel of adjudicators, including John Chitambo, Belle Suwanpotipra, Angelies Earlnus, Tony Shen in the Preliminary Round, and Ryan Baxter, Karen Wong, Stephanie Onggowinoto in the Final Round.
