Boston Piano on the Stage of Viemus Violin Veneration 2024

This groundbreaking international violin partnership was organized by Viemus Music School, in collaboration with Little Star Music Academy from South Korea, BASIS International School Bangkok, and Knightsbridge Education Bangkok.
At the heart of this prestigious event, the Boston Piano Designed by Steinway & Sons had an opportunity to play a significant role on the stage as the accompanying piano for the distinguished Chao Phraya International Violin Competition and the International Recital on 17th and 18th February 2024. The Boston Grand Piano was performed on by esteemed Thai pianist Kant Lormsomboon and Korean Classical pianist Jeong Sekyeong.

Viemus Violin Verenation 2024: A Harmonious Fusion of Mastery, Competition, Concert, and Friendship beyond borders, is led by Viemus Music School, in collaboration with the esteemed Little Star Music Academy from South Korea, BASIS International School Bangkok, and Knightsbridge Education Bangkok, proudly announces the groundbreaking Viemus Violin Verenation 2024: Masterclass, Competition and Concert Series, taking place from 16th – 18th February 2024, Bangkok, Thailand.
This unprecedented international violin partnership unites the expertise of Viemus Music School, led by the renowned Vietrio, with the excellence of Little Star Music Academy, one of the finest violin schools in South Korea with notable track record in competition winners and graduates from Juilliard, Curtis and Harvard. The series take place at the characteristic campus of BASIS International School Bangkok.
Viemus Violin Veneration stands as a beacon of excellence, uniting 21st-century violinists in a celebration of unparalleled talent, boundless creativity, and the sheer joy of musical expression transcending borders, all for a noble cause. The three Vs encapsulate not only the “up bows” sign, but also symbolize the uplifting journey everyone embarks on together.
ABOUT CHAO PHRAYA INTERNATIONAL VIOLIN COMPETITION 2024
The Chao Phraya, revered as the river of Kings, has been a cornerstone of Bangkok's identity for over two centuries, bestowing vitality upon the city. Drawing inspiration from this historic waterway, the competition was held on 17th February 2024 to provide competitors with unparalleled opportunities to display their artistic virtuosity, projecting a star power befitting 21st-century violinists.
The panel of judges includes Dr. Akkrawat Srinarong (Paye Vietrio – Chairman of the Competition), Kanyapas Chayanuwat (Parn Vietrio), Ariya Srinarong (Pui Vietrio), Namsuk Jeon (Founder, Little Star Academy), Jiyoung Moon (Faculty, Little Star Academy) and Rhys Watkins (London Symphony Orchestra).
ABOUT INTERNATIONAL RECITAL
Viemus Violin Veneration series conclude with a captivating joint recital performance at BASIS International School on 18th February 2024. The International Recital featured prizewinners and participants from Korea, Thailand and beyond, who performed works by Sarasate, Paganini, Tchaikovsky and many more. All proceeds from the recital will go towards supporting animal shelter in Suphanburi, Thailand.
