YOUNG STEINWAY OWNERS RECITAL SERIES

Featuring Tiya Uthaisang

27th June 2026 | 16.00 hrs.

Steinway Thailand cordially invites you to an elegant afternoon of music as part of our Young Steinway Owners Recital Series, featuring Tiya Uthaisang.

This recital reflects Tiya’s artistic dedication and growth as a pianist, with the Steinway & Sons grand piano at the heart of her performance. Her program presents a refined selection of études by Chopin, alongside works by Mozart, Liszt, and Tchaikovsky, offering a rich and expressive musical experience.

For the finale, Tiya is joined by her remarkable young guest accompanist Chayapon Chanporn, in a performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2, bringing the recital to a graceful and memorable close.

The PERFORMER

Tiya Uthaisang began her piano studies at the age of four, when she first discovered the quiet sense of expression that drew her deeply to music. She is currently a student of Professor Armen Babakhanian. Since making her debut at the Rising Stars Concert in 2020, she has performed regularly as both a soloist and chamber musician, finding equal joy in sharing music alone and in collaboration with others.

Tiya holds Distinctions in her ABRSM examinations, including the ARSM Diploma in piano. A prizewinner at both national and international competitions, she continues to shape her artistry through performances and masterclasses, viewing each experience as an opportunity for growth rather than achievement alone.

A Music Scholar at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Tiya is an active presence in the school’s musical life. Her curiosity extends beyond the piano to the violin, in which she achieved Grade 8 with Distinction, and to the flute, broadening the way she listens, responds, and communicates through music.

She performs on her Steinway Model B, affectionately named “Oreo” when she was nine, and is drawn to music that speaks with honesty — striving to create performances that feel both deeply personal and genuinely shared.
