An essential element in cultivating musical fluency and fostering a lasting connection between young learners and the piano.

Celebrated as both a soloist and chamber musician, she is also an active recording artist, having collaborated with renowned labels such as Universal Music China, China Records and Naxos, leaving a distinctive mark on the international recording scene.
Her playing has been praised for its imagination and expressive power, with The Times (London) hailing it as “full of vitality and authority.” A prodigious talent from an early age, she made her first recording on All Bach at just ten years old before continuing her training at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Awarded a full scholarship, she went on to study at the Purcell School of Music in the UK, laying the foundation for her international career.
Since moving to the UK, BingBing has appeared at major venues such as Wigmore Hall and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, formally launching her international performance career. She has been invited to perform at the Royal Festival Hall, the Edinburgh International Festival, the Santander Festival in Spain, the Messiaen Festival in France, and the Yale Norfolk Festival in the United States, among many others. Her recital and concerto appearances have taken her to leading concert halls and conservatories across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
BingBing was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in London, and was awarded the Academy’s highest performing diploma, the DipRAM. She graduated with distinction as the only fully funded undergraduate and postgraduate piano student of her year, and won prizes at several international competitions including the Benslow and Eastbourne International Piano Awards.
As a dedicated educator as well as performer, she has given masterclasses across the world, including at the Central Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory, China Conservatory, Xinghai Conservatory, Wuhan Conservatory, Harbin Conservatory, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Xiamen University, Jilin Academy of Arts, Shenzhen Arts School, Qingdao Menuhin School, and this season in Yong Siew Toh Conservatory, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Raffles Music School Singapore, Ho Chi Minh Conservatory in Vietnam, Mahidol University College of Music in Thailand, and Sawai Conservatory in Malaysia. She continues to expand her international tours, inspiring a new generation of young musicians worldwide.
Her artistry has been deeply shaped by her mentors, including the distinguished Chinese pedagogue Wu Yuan, British pianist William Fong, and eminent Professor Christopher Elton. Her performances combine poetry with power, moving effortlessly between refinement and fiery intensity. Critics have praised her playing as “at once deeply profound and directly compelling.” Her repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary, with a particular affinity for Romantic and Impressionist music.
BingBing’s passion for music finds its purest expression in her new live album, Fire and Soul (Live Concert), a recording that captures both the burning spirit of her artistry and her commitment to truth in music-making.
