Since forming the Elisi-Pan Duo, pianists Mengyang Pan and Enrico Elisi have captivated audiences with their vibrant interplay, technical finesse, and expressive depth. With distinct cultural backgrounds—Pan being Chinese-British and Elisi Italian-American—their collaboration draws on a rich tapestry of experiences. Despite residing on separate continents and maintaining independent performance and teaching careers, their shared artistic vision has fostered a dynamic partnership. Their interpretations reflect individuality and cohesion, offering colorful, nuanced performances across a diverse repertoire.

Their programs include works for two pianos, four hands, and occasionally solo pieces. The Duo regularly holds residencies at universities and conservatories worldwide. It is committed to artistic growth and education by presenting various pedagogical projects such as "Effective Memorization Strategies for Pianists," "Duo Open Rehearsal Workshop," and "Echoes of Progress: Traversing Piano Pedagogy from Beijing to Britain"—initiatives that highlight their commitment to fostering musical growth in varied educational settings.

This summer, they will be in residence at institutions in Indonesia and Thailand (Piano Academy of Bangkok), with recitals at Steinway Thailand in Bangkok and upcoming performances in the USA at Music at Penn Alps, Baylor University, Southern Methodist University, Texas Christian University, and Weatherford College.

Recent performances include Poulenc's Concerto for Two Pianos and Orchestra with the China Conservatory Symphony Orchestra and conductor Manuel Nawri, presented at Guoyintang Concert Hall in Beijing as part of Retrospect: The French Chapter of Turn-of-the-Century Music.

The Duo has been featured at notable venues across Asia, Europe, and North America, including the China, Xinghai, and Harbin Conservatories; Steinway Hall in Shun Yi and Cavendish Concert Hall in Beijing; the Spring x Tsing Hua Arts Festival in Taiwan; Goethehaus in Jakarta; Cheltenham Ladies’ College in the UK; Conero International Piano Festival in Italy; and the U.S., the Clayes Performing Arts Center at CSU Fullerton, Texas State University, and Steinway Gallery in Austin.

Mengyang Pan is recognized for her poised artistry and tonal beauty, with performances at leading UK venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall, and Birmingham Symphony Hall. A laureate of the Rina Sala Gallo, Ettlingen, and Birmingham competitions, she has appeared on BBC Radio 3 and ORF's Ö1 Kulturjournal and collaborated with conductors including Vladimir Ashkenazy and John Wilson. She studied at the Royal College of Music with Gordon Fergus-Thompson and Vanessa Latarche, the Purcell School with Tessa Nicholson, and the Central Conservatory in Beijing.

Steinway Artist Enrico Elisi has performed at La Fenice in Venice, Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, the Pavarotti-Freni Opera House in Modena, Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, and the National Gallery in Washington. A laureate of the Premio Venezia and Oporto International Competition, he performed with orchestras such as the Florence Symphony and Bay Atlantic Symphony.
