A Chamber Music Recital by Students of VP Music Academy
17th July 2025 | 17.00 hrs.
Steinway Thailand is proud to present Contours of Departure, a chamber music recital by students of VP Music Academy.
This special concert marks a heartfelt farewell to the students of VP Music, Natnaree Prasomsri (Kanom) and Alif Turongkaravee (Pip), as they begin their musical journey at the prestigious Mozarteum University Salzburg. They are the first two string students from Thailand to be accepted into the university’s Pre-College Program — a significant milestone for both the students and the Thai classical music community. The program features a selection of Mendelssohn’s most expressive chamber works, including Piano Trio No. 1, Piano Trio No. 2, and Piano Quartet No. 1 (Movements I & III).
More than an evening of masterpiece music, this recital offers a reflection on gratitude, memory, and farewell, reflecting how music has created such enduring bonds between VP Music Academy and its students, expressed not merely in words, but on the sonority of finest Steinway piano and other instruments.
