Dr. Krit Niramittham
Krit Niramittham is a pianist, conductor, music educator, and theologian. Born and raised in Thailand, he won the first prize and received the Royal Trophy awarded by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand at the Conrad Young Musician of Thailand Competition 2009. He earned degrees in Piano Performance from Conservatoire de Lausanne, Switzerland, where he studied with Jean-François Antonioli. He has performed chamber music and piano solo concerts in Europe and Asia, including Switzerland, France, Italy, Germany, Romania, Albania, England, Japan, the two Koreas, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. In recent years, he has appeared as a pianist-conductor, performing and conducting works for piano and orchestra. Dr. Krit Niramittham holds a doctoral degree in music education from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a doctoral degree in theology from the BBS-AGST Alliance. He teaches piano, chamber music, music theory, music education-related courses, and philosophy to local and international students in Thailand. His piano students have been awarded prizes in numerous national and international music competitions and exams. Besides, he has constantly been doing and publishing research to enhance his teaching skills and contribute to music education communities worldwide. Notably, one of his works has been published by Oxford University Press in The Oxford Handbook of Asian Philosophies in Music Education.
Teeramet Boonkobkaew
Teeramet Boonkobkaew is ten years old and loves classical music. He enjoys playing various musical instruments, such as the piano, viola, violin, drums, and clarinet. He is now studying at the Shrewsbury International School City Campus. He is a piano student of Steinway Artist San Jittakarn. Teeramet has received numerous prizes in music competitions, both locally and internationally. In 2022, he received the first prize from the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition, the second prize from the Thailand 7th Chopin International Competition, and the third prize from the Churairat Piano Competition. In 2023, he also received two gold prizes in the categories of Solo A and Concerto from the Kasetsart International Piano Competition. Most recently, Teeramet achieved the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Performance with distinction. He wishes to continue to pursue his dreams in music and commit to doing his best in every performance.
Supanee Santiworranunt
Supanee Santiworanunt is a student of Dr. Krit Niramitham. She plays piano, cello, and also sings. She passed the ABRSM grade 5 with a distinction score. She was born and raised in Thailand and is now ten years old. She is studying in year 6 at the Regent’s International School Bangkok, where she has been awarded a music scholarship. She has participated in many activities, including concerts, competitions, masterclasses, and piano camps. She loves to play various styles of music. Supanee Santiworrant always says that she wants to be the world’s top pianist or a music teacher when she grows up.
Thawin Vanitchyangkul
Thawin Vanitchyangkul has been known as one of the most highly acclaimed young pianists of his generation. He is a piano student of Dr. Krit Niramittham and a music scholar at St. Andrews International School (Sukhumvit 107). He has won many awards from both international and national piano and music competitions. Thawin won first prize in the 7th Thailand Chopin International Piano Competition 2023 and received the royal trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. He won the first prize of the Singapore International Classical Piano Competition in 2022. He also won the first prize at the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival in 2021 and received the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati. Other awards include the Platinum award of the Singapore Quatre Music Youth Piano Competition 2021, the 1st prize award of the Bangkok International Piano Competition 2021, the 2nd prize award of the Paderewski International Piano Competition 2021, the 1st prize winner of the Churairat Piano Competition in 2019, and the 1st prize winner of the Hong Kong Youth Performing Art Festival in 2018. In 2022, Thawin was invited to perform with the Immanuel Orchestra for the grand opening of Steinway & Sons Thailand. He also participated in masterclasses with many international pianists, including Congyu Wang, Elena Nesterenko, Prof. Rolf Dieter Arens, and Dr. Giogi Latso. Beside playing piano, Thawin also plays drums, clarinet, and composes music pieces for piano during his free time to further enhance his music education.
Suppakrit Payackso
Suppakrit Payackso is ten years old. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and started playing the piano at the age of three. He is a music scholar at Regent’s International School Bangkok. He is a piano student of Mr. Panyawut Choochuai. He has received numerous awards in both national and international piano competitions. Notably, he was awarded first prizes from Asia Music Competition for Young Artist 2019 in Busan, South Korea; Singapore International Piano Competition 2020; the 8th Hong Kong Youth Performing Arts Festival 2020; Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition for Young Artist 2021; St. Petersburg Music Competition 2021; the 1st Carl Bechstein Piano Competition for Young Pianist (Thailand) 2021; the 2nd Franz Liszt Center International International Piano Competition 2022 (also with Child Prodigy Award); the 6th Thailand Steinway Youth Piano Competition 2022; Yamaha Thailand Music Festival (YTMF) 2021; Young Artist Music Contest 2022; International Moscow Music Online Competition 2023; the 20th De Girard International Young Pianists Competition 2023 (Poland); and the 24th Osaka International Piano Competition 2023 (also Journalist Award). He loves music, coding, reading, and swimming. His dream is to be a concert pianist.
Boonisa Saleesuk
Twelve-year-old Boonisa Saleesuk's musical journey commenced at the age of three. Since then, her passion for music, particularly the piano, has significantly deepened. Over the past three years, she has been actively participating in piano competitions, garnering several top prizes both in Thailand and abroad. These include the Best Performance Award and Gold Prize (Piano Sonata Category) from the VI International Liszt Ferenc Competition 2023, first place (Age Group 3) at the Henle Piano Competition 2023, and first place in the Bangkok International Youth Music Competition 2023 (Piano Classical Class Children B). Boonisa has also earned the third prize (Category D) in the final round of the Churairat ABRSM Piano Competition 2023, the second prize (for pianists aged 11–12) at the Asia Pacific International Arts Festival Piano & String Competition 2023, and the Best Performance Award (Solo A category) from the Kawai Music School Piano Competition 2022. Her earlier achievements include first place (Chopin Waltz category) at the 2nd Bangkok International Piano Competition 2021, first prize (Children class B) at the Singapore International Piano Competition 2021, top scorer in the ABRSM Grade 4 exam in 2021, and gold prize in the Me and My Piano Music Contest 2020. Boonisa is a piano student of Pin Tipwatoo Aramwittaya. In addition to her musical pursuits, Boonisa serves as a representative of her class in Thai language competitions at school. During her leisure time, she enjoys drawing and delving into the lives of various composers and pianists.
Ratchawin Sirilerdsacksakul
Ratchawin Sirilerdsacksakul is a 14-year-old Thai pianist. He began his musical journey at the age of four, guided by Dr. Krit Niramittham. Ratchawin's musical talent has been recognized with numerous awards, including first place at the Yamaha Thailand Music Festival and the prestigious Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati for Piano Solo in 2018, Piano Duet in 2017, and 2021. In addition, he won the First Prize in Piano Solo at Thailand's Kawai Music Competition in 2017. Notably, he won the First Prize and Best Performance of Chopin Waltz at the 7th ASEAN International Chopin Piano Competition in Malaysia in 2018, receiving an invitation to perform at the gala concert. Furthermore, his exceptional talent led him to win the First Prize at the Singapore International Piano Competition in 2020, where he received cash prizes and trophies. In 2023, he won the first prize and received the Royal Trophy from Her Royal Highness, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, in the Duo Idol category. Ratchawin is currently a dedicated student and music scholar at Regent’s International School Bangkok. He always sharpens his skills by attending masterclasses and summer camps both locally and internationally, which allowed him to express his talent in chamber music, trios, bands, and full orchestral performances. In addition to his piano skills, Ratchawin also pursues vocal studies; he recently won the gold medal in vocals at the 10th Asia Arts Festival in Singapore.
Pichaphon Chettanacharoenchai
Pichaphon Chettanacharoenchai is a junior high school student at Assumption College's English Program. He started his piano studies at the age of 5 at Yamaha Music School and is currently a student of Dr. Krit Niramittham. He has been awarded numerous prizes in music competitions, including the First-Runner-Up Award in the Yamaha Thailand Music Festivals 2023 in the Duo Idol category; the Second Place Award in the 10th Hong Kong International Youth Performance Arts Festival competition in 2023 in the piano duet category; the Merit Award in the 2022 Vienna Music Competition; the First Prize and the Royal Trophy awarded by Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati in piano duet category; and First-Runner-Up Awards in the Duo Idol category in the Yamaha Thailand Music Festivals 2022; the Gold Award in the 1st Young Concert Artists International Piano Competition 2021; the Silver Prize award in 2021 Thailand International Virtual Music Competition; and the Silver Prize in the Singapore Asia Youth Piano Competition 2019. Most recently, he passed the ABRSM grade 8 exam with a distinction score.
Dr. Yusuke Komura
Yusuke Komura began his piano studies at the age of six, and from that time forward, he continued to show his remarkable talent as a pianist. He relocated to New Zealand in 2001, where he started his studies under Dr. Thomas Hecht; he also took the time to learn the harpsichord. Graduating from Paraparaumu College with first-class honors in music, he pursued his career as a classical pianist. He was the first Japanese pianist to graduate from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory with a bachelor’s degree (honors) at the National University of Singapore. After spending two years at the College of Charleston for his Artist’s Diploma, he moved to Chicago to complete his Master’s degree from Roosevelt University. In 2016, Yusuke received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the tutelage of Christopher Taylor. As an in-school competition winner, he toured the greater Chicago area to perform solo works in 2010. In 2013, he won a concerto competition at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and performed Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor, which was broadcast on Wisconsin radio along with an interview. He was selected to participate in the Midwest International Piano Competition. While creating arrangements for piano as well as other instruments has been his interest since his early age, it was only in recent years that he started creating arrangements of folk and popular songs regularly. He has organized annual concerts dedicated to his arrangements for solo, solo instruments with piano, and other chamber settings. Currently, he serves as a board member of Chopin Society Bangkok and the founder of Charity Piano Concerts Bangkok. He is also active as an educator, having received numerous awards as a teacher. His students have won numerous prizes at both domestic and international competitions, performing at world-class venues such as Carnegie Hall.
