“Educating The Piano Student To Be a Holistic Artist”

Steinway Thailand will be presenting a Piano Workshop for Performers and Pedagogues presented by Steinway Artist and Steinway Honorary Teacher Dr. Yoonie Han.

While students learn their most basic piano skills, it is also important that they are exposed to the history and scope of piano repertoire, music in general, and the broad world of the arts, enabling them to be more sensitive and creative in their interpretation of piano scores and performances.

This seminar is designed to expand piano teachers’ recognition and general knowledge of a broad range of piano literature, and topics will cover lives of composers in five centuries of piano literature with emphasis on their distinctive styles and most significant compositions.
